St Williams Church and St Williams Social Justice Group support for National Sorry Day:

There will be Sorry Day Flowers for people to purchase after Mass at St Williams Church. They’ve already come from a local Aboriginal group at Redcliffe. Sorry Day Flowers. Little pink native hibiscus made of fabric. Native hibiscus chosen because they occur all over Australia and can survive in harsh environments.

St William’s usually advertises the ceremony at Teralba Park. Last year there were 100 people or more from the local schools but half a dozen from the parish. It’s got bigger over the years. This year Grovely State School children are going to form a choir. Pattie from St Williams SJG is providing morning tea.
