Just paid our Urban Utilities water and sewerage quarterly account.
It certainly is a significant bill.
Our consumption was down on the same period last year and less than half the Brisbane average or local average so the size of the bill isn’t really about how much we use.
So 18kL over 90 days works out to be $37.75.
It is the Fixed Access Charges that start to get steeper:
Water Access Charge $40.74
Sewerage Access Charge $115.29
