Anzac Day is 25 April
Ingredients
[ul]1 cup each of plain flour sugar rolled oats & coconut
115gms butter
1 tablespoon treacle or golden syrup
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 teaspoon bi-carb soda[/ul]
Method
Grease biscuit tray or line with overproof paper
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius.
Melt together butter and golden syrup. Combine water and bi-carb soda and add to butter mixture.
Mix butter mixture and dry ingredients.
Drop teaspoons of mixture onto biscuit trays allowing room for spreading.
Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden.
Allow to cool on tray for a few minutes before transferring to cooling racks.
Makes approximately 35 biscuits.
