Imagine if our planners (council state federal…) started by developing a deep understanding and knowledge base of the local region and calculating its sustainable carrying capacity. Imagine if all planning decisions were made to operate within our regional carrying capacity!!!!! We might just have a chance.
Imagine if every country in the world lived and bred only within its carrying capacity. All the refugee problems and border fights and fights over resources such as food and water and farming land would vanish.
Other species would be able to co-exist with us without going extinct.
Carrying capacity is such an important concept. What if it was taught about in schools from early on as one of the key concepts we all need to understand deeply?
