Loaded up our bikes to try this path out for cycling. Wonderful.
The path goes down along Downfall Creek crossing Bunya Rd quite near the dog off-leash area and continuing for half a kilometre.
Other roads it crosses are View Cres (where it is called the John Whiteway Path) and by the shopping centre on Woodhill Rd.
There are lots of entrances off side streets and we parked by one of these and road from there.
The path is easy to ride along in either direction. It has a very slight gradient following the fall of the creek. A few tricky curves. Some wooden bridges and sections across creeks. There had been a lot of flooding recently and some parts of the path had gravel washed onto it but it wasn’t a problem. The grassed areas were very wet and boggy because of the rain last night.
The trees and lawns are looking very beautiful the creek flowing very fresh and healthily and birds just everywhere including the bush turkey and his mound just off Bunya Rd.
