Young Keperra dancer Jessica Cross has been accepted to study with the Australian Company of Performing Arts doing dance drama singing and music. She wants to do musical theatre.
Jessica is very passionate about dance and has been dancing all her life preferring hip-hop and some contemporary.
Jessica studied at Mitchelton State High School where their indigenous program included a workshop by award-winning director Wesley Enoch. It also includes a lot of traditional dance performance.
