Peter Dutton: I rise today to speak on the Health Insurance Amendment
(Compliance) Bill 2010 which for a variety of reasons has been subject
to much debate in the previous parliament. The bill implements the
increased Medicare compliance audits measure from the 2008-09 budget.
This measure proposed to increase Medicare compliance audits from 500 to
2500 per year and increase powers to secure documents…
