[u]Toes and balance[/u]

This might be a bit cold this time of year!

In swimming pool stand in an ‘end’ where the water is up to shoulder height and feet touch the bottom.

This exercise is designed to enable aware exploration of toe joints without having to worry about bearing the weight of the body because the water supports the weight.

Support balance by holding side of pool with one hand lightly.

On toes raise and lower toes and explore toe joints.
Move awarely paying close attention to the feeling in the joints and moving slowly.

Move balance awarely from one leg to the other on toes swinging in a slow semi-circle paying attention to the process of balance.
