We just had fitness tests at the Grovely TAFE – they had a fitness team there for the Plant Sale crowd.

At least we were ok on some of the measures!

Blood glucose readings normal range is 4 – 6. Best taken fasting.
Blood pressure ideal range is 120/80
Ideal male body fat % is 25%
Ideal water content % of body is 50-60%
Getting resting pulse rate down to 60s is a sign heart is getting stronger.

We had our weight measured and our grip strength and VO2 scores (oxygen utilization score in mm when exercising).

Vicky was very helpful in motivating to keep cycling for the full 5 minutes the test required and also in giving some suggestions after about a level to start an exercise program to increase fitness.
