I am looking at whether there is interest for a new Neighbourhood Watch area in Keperra on the northern side of Samford Road (bounded by the Ferny Grove railway line). I will start gathering expressions of interest from the local community in the next week or two but just wanted to see online here if anyone in the area was interested too. The extent of the area will need to be decided with the community.
There is an existing Neighbourhood Watch in Kings Park at Keperra but this is quite a separate area of Keperra and is removed from some of the unique characteristics of the suburb to the north of Samford Road (i.e. train station/railway line childcare centre small local businesses etc). For me it makes sense that a second Neighbourhood Watch area is established.
