[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schistosomiasis]Schistosomiasis[/url] is a disease typically found in places like Uganda in Africa. When I saw it on TV the swollen bellies distended abdomens I couldn’t help thinking it looks like a lot of people in South East Queensland. One of those intuitions that made me stop and want to be tested for it. Does anyone know for sure that schistosomiasis is not ‘around’ in South East Queensland?
