Fabulous! J. volunteers on The Coffee Cart at Ferny Grove State School on Monday mornings. I’ll ask him to bring home the coffee grounds for our worm farms and garden.
We have quite a few coffee shops. Let’s make sure that all their coffee grounds get used effectively to build our local garden soils.
Providing we keep key resources like this local it almost doesn’t matter where they end up (just not in the Ferny Grove Landfill Site going to Rochedale Tip!!!)
We have a huge task to systematically and steadily upgrade the soil quality in this whole community. None of us can grow food unless we first of all pay attention to building soil quality.
Making soil is close to a ‘sacred duty’ for all of us. It is foundational to life.
