Moreton Bay Ratepayers Action Group – Pine Rivers South are continuing to lobby Unitywater (chief executive Jon Black) about water price rises.
More price rises for water may be in store. The 459 tariff is being reviewed by Unitywater.
The State Government’s bulk water charges rose 29c/kL and Unitywater’s water charge rose between 3-22c/kL
Residents in the Pine Rivers area had a 27% annual rise in water costs and they are feeling it. They are paying $1384 for water and the average in the shire is $1148.
