I was reading the other day about the early days of the Royal Flying Doctor Service which relied on pedal radios. What about pedal computers to counter the obesity epidemic? 🙂
Seriously though. It is easy end more efficient to power computers off 12cv DC. When we ‘go bush’ we run our lap-top off a solar panel and we use a 12volt car radio/CD player for news and entertainment.
