While most of us shop and use big corporate services. Our dependence on them lies at the heart of our lack of resilience in our local communities. Almost all the money spent in these businesses leaves our community immediately. Much of it leaves Australia.
These businesses do often employ locals especially in casual positions. While our community values local work opportunities we need to be aware of the employment conditions and types of jobs available.
