Apparently there are about 450 Aboriginal people living locally slightly above the population rate and tending to live in the Keperra area.
Not a great deal is known about them or their particular needs
The Social Justice Group is in the process of planning a seminar/ workshop with speakers/ experts on violence within the family workplace and school life for February next year.
