We have taken the opportunity to participate in Arana Ausfest 2010 at Arana Leagues Club on Saturday 9 October. We have booked space for an information booth and have equipped ourselves with a good quality gazebo a couple of folding tables and a banner (as used above). All we need now is people! If you can spare some time to help we would love to see you there. Our aim is to connect with as many people as possible in our community and to collect email addresses so that we can invite them to future events like film and discussion nights.
Setup is from 9:00am to 12:00 noon
Entertainment goes from 12:30pm to 6:60pm
Bump-out is from 6:30pm
Fireworks will go from 6:50pm to 7:00pm
We would appreciate your participation and hope to see you there.
Then on Sunday 10 October we have a regular monthly meeting booked at the Arana Library meeting room from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. (Cobbity Crescent Arana Hills). All Transition The Grove members are invited. This will be an opportunity for members to meet together socially and get better acquainted. We would also like to include a focused discussion on how we can improve the effectiveness of our web-site in engaging new members. Your suggestions comments and feedback will be much appreciated.
Light refreshments will be provided.
