A former student of Mitchelton State High School who had the benefit of workshops and performances of indigenous dance is now going on to her dream future after being accepted into the Australian Company of Performing Arts to pursue her dream of doing musical theatre.
Jessica Cross is a teen from Keperra and comes from a Cairns-based Yindji Tribe. She has enjoyed dance both indigenous and hip-hop all her life.
