We’ve just had 2 visitors from Hungary who have been fabulous at sharing ideas about food and soil technologies that are effective. They’ve just been up in the Trobriand Islands showing the locals there how to build effective compost heaps (proper nitrogen/carbon mix with right structure). We had a long discussion about systems for managing human waste and blackwater.
Anyway the E M Technology definitely caught my attention. It originated in Japan and mixes about 80 different types of aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms together in one mix and this is used in a variety of ways especially on soil with reported excellent results.
Found the above link to an Australian supplier and we’ll get some and try it out and put some local feedback on here about our experience.
