An annual report of the year. Usually done shortly after Christmas and summarised from diaries for the year. Detailed record of the year. Great to look back on and great to relive the year.
Now of course photos get added to it.
Then it gets abbreviated down to a sensible length and emailed to friends and family.
We thoroughly enjoy receiving their Christmas letters of a similar nature.
