Some time ago i contracted a bad dose of pneumonia and because my resistance was so low i got something in the bowel that made the toilet a semi permanent attachment. End result was it nearly killed me. The main treatment came in the form of anti biotic. Course after course until i could breath again. The constant diarrhea still remained as did my seeming umbilical to the toilet from which i could not be away from for long nor leave the vicinity of. After several months of this with no apparent change from subsequent pleas for help and treatment by the doctor. I went to a different doctor who upon being made aware that i had had massive anti biotic treatment. explained to me that all bugs in my body had been killed by the treatment and that i needed to put the good bugs back into my tummy so i could digest food and that i should eat white bread if i had a loose bowel movement. One tablet later the umbilical to the toilet was amputated. I could not hold back a level of annoyance that such a simple step was just overlooked by the first doctor time after time. I had been a cot case for months because the doctor forgot some thing so basic as to put the good bugs back into my tummy. One slice of white bread is now a part of my daily diet for although it was nearly two years ago since my first anti biotic treatment the ongoing failure to restore my guts to a working level for so long has meant that now although better i am not back to the fitness of the Pre-Anti biotic days. Moral of the story is don’t be as passive or as naive as i was. I learn t the lesson the hard way that If you are not getting answers from your doctor get a different doctor QUICKLY. Do what it takes to find some one who helps YOU!
