Someone (not us) wrote a letter (name withheld) to the North West News about public consultation saying ‘a unilateral decision is NOT public consultation’.
I think the principle of public consultation (before planning has reached a stage that is not open to change) is essential for our sense of community ownership and citizenship. An empowered citizenship is alive. A disempowered citizenship become limp hopeless bitter.
