Brisbane bus Lines will be providing free trvel for families who live more than 3.2km from their nearest primary school or 4.8kms from their nearest high school.
The BTA scheme is only eligible for families further than the allocated distances from their nearest primary or high school not their chosen school.
Families sending their children to schools beyond the nearest facility could use the BTA scheme to travel to their chosen school with a top-up fare system beyond the nearest school.
