Welcome new member Jessica Geron who has nominated Food & Food Gardens The Head The Heart The Hands Community Cultural Values and Recycling- Zero Waste as her Interest Groups.
Jessica is new to the district from Sydney. Professional artist working from home. Family of 4 including two toddlers.
The community garden at Patricks Rd State Preschool site took a step forward yesterday with the landscaping and excavation of a big area where we can lay out garden beds. Thanks heaps to Simon of MFT Earthworking who donated his time and manifest skills and the use of the excavator for free. Progress is exciting!
Happy New Year everyone. We look forward to getting together with folks in the New Year to talk through directions for 2012 for Transition Towns in this community.
