Picabeen Community Centre hosts many exciting activities and events many of which are free.

Playgroup: held on Fridays between 10am-12pm. It’s free and there’s no need to book.

Learn computer skills usually in a one on one setting on Mondays or Tuesdays. Another free activity however bookings are essential.

ToughLove is a parent support program that meets upstairs at Picabeen Community centre on Tuesday nights from 7.30pm – please call 3856 3211 for more details.

Yoga: Refresh and relax by participating in Yoga with Natalie every Tuesday from 9:30am-10:45am. Phone Natalie on 0423 275 036 to book.

Craft Classes: Drop in and join the craft classes every Thursday from 9:30am-12pm which like the Art Group on Fridays from 1-3pm is in the sheltered outdoor area so you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of parkland and Kedron Brook.

Tai Chi: You need to book for Tai Chi on Thursdays. Participate under the shade of beautiful trees in Picabeen Park next to our centre from 9:30-10:30am.

Common Ground is an 8 week facilitated men’s group providing a safe non-confronting atmosphere which supports your personal growth. Phone 31024777 for more information.

Conversational English is a friendly group of people from many countries working with our tutors to improve their spoken and written English. Join in from 9:30-11:30am on Fridays except during school holidays.

Older Women’s Network (Qld) Inc (OWN) is a network of groups of older women who celebrate the wit and wisdom of their lives. The program promotes discussion and action on healthy ageing access to information dealing with loss and change and much more. OWN meets at Picabeen on the second Wednesday of every month from 10am to 12pm. Membership is $14 per year and $2 per meeting.
