Latest advice is to buy [b]alcohol swabs[/b] from the chemist and have a supply (in the car in the house).

If a tick gets attached rub it with the alcohol swab. Apparently that makes them die straight away.

Two friends got ticks the same day I got one (all on different outings so they are definitely common in the bush at the moment) and we’re all feeling a bit off.
