Our Charade is getting deep TLC and it is wonderful to watch. Hubby bought a manual for it and a friend comes over and they work together. I get them breakfast. One day a young man came too and the three of them worked together. Clutch plates drive shaft boots. Lots of grease and bits. This feels fundamentally resilient not just in getting the physical job done but in men working together and bonding and mentoring. Feels deeply good.
