There are quite a few book clubs locally. Some are full or closed. Others are open to new members.
The Arana Library (and probably the Mitchelton Library) have lists of local book clubs with the contact people.
The book clubs operating through the libraries borrow boxes of 10 copies of a book from the library each month and use these to read and discuss the book.
The book club I am in meets monthly and we meet in each other’s homes taking turns. Others may meet in a library.
The Arana Library occasionally holds functions for book clubs to come together for an evening.
