NAPLAN tests Years 3 5 and 7 on Reading Writing Spelling Grammar & Punctuation and Numeracy.
They provide comparison results for schools serving children from statistically similar backgrounds and for all schools and results for each year can also be compared with the previous years to see if there is an improvement.
In 2009 Grovely State School got a lot of Below Average or Substantially Below Average results compared with schools serving children from statistical similar backgrounds.

The outstanding results have been achieved in Year 5. Year 7 is mixed with an outstanding result in Reading but poor results in Spelling Grammar & Punctuation and Numeracy. Year 3 results show least change although one definite decline.
