There is a poem:

I am a 50 metre tall 550 year old gum tree.
Gumnuts grow on my branches.
Storms make me afraid because lightning may burn my trunk.
My hollow branch also provides shelter for a Possum family.
The Koalas who live in me enjoy my leaves for food.
I am very happy when children climb into my branches to fetch their football.
Often they find nests of Magpies Lorikeets or Cockatoos.
I hope People will care for me until I die.
So then my trunk may be used for good furniture.
Help Protect us so all the Birds and animals will have homes and food.
