Next Steps NWHealth CCC Medicare Locals and our community health

Locals representing our community are meeting with senior representatives from both the Metro North Brisbane Medicare Local and the health reform team within the Metro North District CEO’s Office.

They are discussing consumer and community engagement in the context of the health reform agenda. This will build on discussions held at the CCC ‘Next Steps’ workshop in November and provide an opportunity to learn more about the Medicare Local the health reform agenda and how the Medicare Local and the Metro North Health Service District will work together and with members of the local community moving forward.

Discussions at these meetings are very important to the future direction of the CCCs (Community Consultative Committees).
