We got the solar system installed on the roof yesterday and I am having to do a bit more of a battle.
They installed an inverter which was a size below what they said they would be using. I picked them up on this as they made me sign their “Completion” form.
I got in touch with Energex (despite their advice to just sign) who also had details of the larger (Correct) size inverter on there proposed installation request and I used that as a lever to get the contractors moving on it.
It seems you have to watch every contractor these days for it seems mandatory that they all went to the “University of the short sheet?”
Anyway hopefully it will get sorted soon. Energex have told me they will not connect the system unless the inverter is changed. joy to the world life’s a hoot?
