A road safety campaign will be conducted by police in our region from 13th to 26th April aiming to remove defective vehicles from the roads prior to the holiday period because defects in a vehicle’s safety can cause or worsen the severity of crashes.
Police will be cracking down on everyting from the condition of tyres to the operation of head and tail lights and indicators. They will be intercepting cars that look like they need a good check over.
