Any member can create a New Thread on any discussion Forum or Reply to any existing thread.
While it is possible to have images added it is difficult and we can’t really afford to have images on the website.
The discussion needs to be relevant to building a greater sense of local around here in The Grove (suburbs of Upper Kedron Ferny Grove Ferny Hills Arana Hills Keperra (Grovely)).
The discussion also needs to be consistent with developing greater local resilience which can include taking global issues and translating them into how they are relevant here for our resilience.
This is not a chat site for connecting up with local friends. Please use Facebook or another social networking site for that.
It is not available for marketing or for political promotion or for attempting to convert people to any religious point of view. This does not preclude posts which help us get to know what is happening locally and to build an understanding of how our local world operates.
Posts need to be respectful of individuals and groups. Any which aren’t will be removed as promptly. The individual posting them will be notified that there has been a complaint about the post. Repeated disrespectful postings will not be tolerated.
All threads include a Report to Moderator button.
Discussion threads can be controversial. Debate is acceptable. The idea is to develop a clear understanding of issues and to help work out what the facts are. Mistakes can be identified and weeded out. The discussion and debate needs to be kept respectful of individuals and aim for facts and rational argument no abuse or illogical or stuff based on no evidence.
You don’t have to be good at spelling writing or grammar to post a thread.
