$9 Million Upgrade to the Grovely Substation
The two-year project will effectively double the
available electricity supply to homes and businesses
in Grovely Keperra Upper Kedron Mitchelton Ferny
Grove and Oxford Park. The recent blackouts that
residents have experienced in January and February
highlight the need for greater security of electricity
delivery in our local area. The project involves the
installation of two new 25MVA transformers into the
electricity substation in Callan Street Keperra as
well as a range of local network upgrades.
