Supply and replenishing of food to supermarkets is a logistical nightmare in the QLD floods with big foodgrowing areas flooded and access roads flooded.
Coles is pretty well stripped bare of essential foods. Quite a sight to see. The people I feel sorry for are those in suburbs which are flooded and the power is off (whether or not their property is flooded). Freezers and fridges go off and food perishes and it’s not easy to restock just now.
