Council has done a lot of background work but Arana & Ferny Hills are on a distant edge of a mega council and so far from the (often disputed) centre where the multimillion dollar projects take place. I want to see more commitment for our area and more detail especially on environmental planning. Bushland needs protecting but it will only be protected if it is considered ‘significant’… how is that measured and who decides it especially when developers are waving big bucks at the council and growth is a priority?
