Hunger population well beyond carrying capacity the oil supply that enabled them to purchase food from overseas now past peak so there’s no longer enough money to import the food to feed the population.
And decades ago Egypt rejected birth control and went for population growth. Good one! That was a really really really dumb thing to do. Babies grow up to be very hungry adults in a world where there food supply won’t meet demand at a price people can afford.
