Kalinga Park near Toombul Terrace footbridge. This is the third in a series of fish snapshots of Kedron Brook (the first was at Arana Hills).

Determine the environmental health of Kedron Brook by evaluation of water quality riparian habitat and observed wildlife under set methods and conditions. Contact our Kedron Brook Creek Ranger Anna Bourke on 3407 0925

4. Hillbrook College Sustainability Day
‘Community Solutions to global problems’ on Saturday 4 June
10 am to 4 pm with ‘Music on the green’ following to 6:30 pm.
Family program celebrating Hillbrook’s 25 th anniversary. Transition The Grove will be there and Kedron Brook Catchment Group will be present displaying local brook activities and to join in the presentations.
5. Glider Survey Project Following a successful survey on 8 January the final survey is planned for Saturday 9 April at 5 pm for 5.30 pm start. Meet at bush reserve adjacent to Ferny Grove State High School Tramway St.
Light refreshments at end about 8 pm. Places strictly limited so RSVP by Tuesday 5 April to our Creek Ranger Anna Bourkeor phone 3407 0925.
6. Bird Sightings – 2011 (KBCG)
The next programmed birding is planned for Cedar Creek Upper Kedron at 7.30 am Sunday 8 May. We meet in Upper Kedron Road near small playground just east of but next to the road bridge before Hogarth Road. (UBD Map 137 ref. G5)
Many of these activities are organised by the Kedron Brook Catchment Branch and we encourage anyone with a keen interest in the environment locally to join this excellent group. Their website is www.kedronbrook.org.au
