Geoff Bennion of Arana Hills was presented with a certificate of recognition for his 40 years of service as a JP by Geoff Wilson MP.
It is impossible to put a proper value on the contribution that Justices of the Peace and Commissioners for Declaration make to community development and the well-being of their fellow citizens. All are volunteers who perform important legal functions in our society from witnessing signatures to hearing matters in court. JPs are highly regarded members of our society who’s duties free up lawyers and courts to perform functions which require more intensive legal training.
