In wet weather watch out for coccidiosis. Keep the chook yard well drained with lots of mulch. Clean out chook droppings.
Check the chook house for leaks.
Pestene is a sulphur and derris product that is effective for lice on poultry (use a face mask).
Spray with pyrethrum around the cracks in the chook house to kill mites.
Worm chooks regularly (I don’t find this easy to do) but change the type of medication after every 5 applications to stop immunity developing.
