The Queensland Government has contributed $3.31 million of the total $4.4 million that has been spent to repair damaged infrastructure in the aftermath of the severe storm on 14 November 2008.
Repairing and restoring vital community infrastructure ended up being more extensive than at first thought and taking longer to complete. There is no now outstanding public infrastructure repairs from the storm thanks to the work of the councils the SES community groups and local residents the Army and the State Government.
