By the walkway along Kedron Brook just behind the Arana Leagues Club pathway near the Dawson Parade bridge there is a bronze plaque which bears the following inscription:
‘Cyril’s Way’
This area to be known as Cyril’s Way is named after a wonderful local resident [b]Cyril Wegner[/b] who sadly passed away on 23 April 2002 aged 75 years. Cyril was known to young and old for his longstanding involvement in the community. Cyril helped with many plantings in and around the Keperra area his last one being this area along Kedron Brook.
