Biography
* Born in Canberra Brett Mason was first elected to the Senate for Queensland in 1998.
* He is the Shadow Minister for Universities and Research.
* He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from ANU a Masters in Philosophy from Cambridge University and a PhD from Griffith University.
* Prior to entering Federal Parliament Brett worked as barrister and a lecturer in Criminology from the Queensland University of Technology.
