The Hills Christmas Carols were held tonight at George Willmore Park as they are each year. The PCYC Golden Valley Keperra Lions and the Ferny Districts Fishing Club were all serving food. The SES was looking after safety. Cr Brian Battersby was there as Father Christmas happily handing out sweets to kids. And there was a whole community of happy families with young children on blankets on the lawn in front of the music bowl.
There were rides and jumping castles and blow up slides.
On the stage performers sang carols.
At 8pm the fireworks went off with a dazzle.
Very relaxed and happy and safe for the kids.
