TV – energy rating ****** energy consumption 90 kWh per year

As low-consumers it is always quite a decision to take ourselves off to purchase major consumer items.

The decision in this case was made to purchase a television that uses a lot less power than our current television.

Ended up with an LED TV that consumes 90kWh per year and has a 6 star energy rating. There was a trade-off in that it doesn’t do a couple of functions we would have liked but both of those drove the energy rating up quite a lot.

Now we have to dispose of the old TV.
