I couldn’t tell you what the show is now but a number of years ago now I was watching a documentary on a trial program in Brazil. They were letting the weeds grow and found that the insects preferred the weeds and left the crops alone. Unfortunately I won’t try it because I am having too much trouble with weeds now to start giving them free reign.
