A koala has been sighted sitting in a tree near one of the back decks of a property in Davidson Close Arana Hills on 28th December 2011. This area of Bunya State Forest is called Yarraman Reserve. It is not the first sighting of a koala here. The koala munched away happily for about four hours in a tree before disappearing. General feeling of delight at the news of the sighting!
Koalas are also seen near the tennis courts at McDowall where one of our book club members plays tennis.
