It is easy to join Transition The Grove Inc as a member by using the Join tab.
When someone completes an application to join it is checked carefully to see that they meet the requirements for being local.
The Interests that are selected are used to add the new member’s name to Subgroups.
A Welcome New Member Newsletter is sent to other members in those chosen Subgroups with the name of the new member.
Members of a Subgroup are able to see who belongs to that Subgroup via the Groups tab on the website.
They are able to send a Subgroup Bulletin that goes to all members of that Subgroup. They can also send an individual email to a member of the Subgroup but it does not show the actual email address. They can see the real names of members of the Subgroup they are in but not their address. The aim of Subgroups is that members will meet each other and get to know each other and actively work together in the area of interest of the Subgroup. People who are not in the Subgroup do not see these details.
Members belong to up to 8 Subgroups and are expected to participate actively in any they join.
