Received from Geoff Wilson MP:

New Tavern On The Way
The new tavern at Ferny Grove and extra commuter car parks are a step closer following the
signing of a Development Agreement between the Queensland Government and Australian
Leisure and Hospitality Group (ALH) as part of the $100 million public transport hub being
built at the Ferny Grove Railway Station.
I have been advised by the Minister for Local Government that under the Agreement ALH
will build the tavern and some of the proposed 1000 commuter car parks on Government
owned land. The car parks to be built and paid for by ALH will be returned to the State as
part of the new public transport hub with a long-term lease granted by the State back to ALH
for the tavern.
